Food Project: village of Jilbo

Supply of food and essential goods

Alongside the Covid-19 pandemic, the regions of Amhara, Tigray, Afar and Oromia have been hit by swarms of locusts which, combined with water shortages, have completely devastated farmland, making it impossible to secure basic food supplies. In 2021 and 2022, Strawberry Field Onlus provided support to the village of Jilbo, ensuring food and essential supplies for all its inhabitants.
