Primary school in Abuna

At last, access to basic education for more than 1,400 children

In collaboration with Centro Aiuti per l’Etiopia, a partner organisation in the project, a primary school has been built in Abuna, a small town in southern Ethiopia. This ambitious project, which was only made possible thanks to cooperation between various organisations, comprises a complex consisting of five buildings, 16 classrooms, a library, a staff room, several administrative offices, service rooms, an outdoor play area and a small football pitch. Strawberry Fields Onlus undertook to fund part of the project.
